Lily is a classic wool yarn that is springy and light. It is untreated (non-superwash) it can be felted. It’s perfect for stranded colorwork.
A note about colors: To get colors the correct depth on this base, a 2x dye formulation was required. The speckles on this non-superwash wool are not as apparent or become streaks and flashes of color, rather than small spots. There may be more variation from skein to skein, in some cases. If you order multiple skeins, the best matching skeins will be chosen. There still may be variations in saturation, hue, and/or value. It is best to alternate skeins to blend the differences.

Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, each skein is unique. If you are using more than one skein in a project, you can blend the differences by alternating skeins every couple of rows.
I do my best to represent the colorways as accurately as possible and always photograph the yarn in natural light, however, screens do vary in color portrayal. If you have questions about colorways, feel free to ask before making a purchase.
